Ride Summary: The original motive behind this and all Capitol Forest Sick
Puke rides was and is to put down some big miles in Capitol Forest with some
friends and sample the best adventure it has to offer. The original intention of
the 2002 route was a complete circumnavigation of Capitol Forest via trail.
We had the ambition but not the legs (or the lights). At Rock Candy we
realized we were running behind schedule so we bailed off the trail and
pedaled for Porter Creek Camp and Wedekind via B-Line and C-1000 roads
and then hooked back up with the single track and our route there. We rode
with a support vehicle providing refueling stations every 15 miles or so by
Danger Man, Jamie Poelker. A fun ride and the beginning of an annual
tradition. It took us 9.5 hours. First ridden by Don Hecker, Jim Albright, Jim
Graham and Austin Hildreth on October 25 2002.

We completed the 2002 route for the 2009 Sick Puke.
