first intersection at the gate to Old Town Bordeaux, park here..
Route Description: Take gravel road C-8000 up (don't turn left at the
intersection with road C-8200 100 yards up) about 6 miles (don't turn off on
any of the spur roads) to the intersection with trail Mount Molly Porter #3, go
left onto the trail. Take the trail around to road B-8500, take B-8500 to trail
Rock Candy East on your left, drop in. Take Rock Candy East to Rock
Candy West and back up to road B-8500. Take B-8500 to North Rim Trail
on the right, drop in. Take North Rim Trail to Middle Waddell Loop until you
get to the Sherman Valley Road culvert. Take a right onto Sherman Valley
Road and retrace the way you drove in back to where you parked on
Noschka Road.
Ride Summary: The road climb up C-8200 is steady for a few miles and
then gets abruptly steeper, a nice progressive climb. Rock Candy West is
bermed and fun, North Rim Trail is a banked Capitol Forest clay classic.
Middle Waddell Loop is a roller coaster, and the stronger you are the more
fun it is. Good times.
