| THE END Poker Run Finale '07 The perfect finish to an epic summer event series .............. The summer wrap up poker run went off with a bang. With a good turn out and lots of folks tackling the big loop, appetites were encouraged and thanks to Jackson's Ultimate Burger Grill double cheese burgers were prepared for all (and some vegie burgers to). The shinning moment of this event was giving away the JOY RIDE BIKES and DIAMOND BACK donated Mission 3. This was a $3000 trail bike built for slaying Capitol Forest singletrack. The entrants into the raffle were '07 FOCF work party and race attendees. And as the winner revealed, by going to every work party and attending every race your chances of wining improved. Noah Roberts is now the proud owner of one of the finest trail bikes on the market today. Noah is one of the many local die hards who does not miss a work a party and was at every race. He as well as so many others deserved to win this bike. Congratulations Noah. In the open timed class Bernie Miller of GL6 Racing came out on top by over 20 minutes! It just goes to show eating Wheaties pays off. Prizes were awarded 5 deep to the hardcore's in this class, because we can! And as far as prizes go we had so much schwag to give away everyone went away with something, wow.
