| The idea here is to award the top 3 finishers in all classes for the series, as well as at each event. The top three finishers at each event will be awarded custom water-jet cut aluminum FOCF '07 Super D dog tags (thanks to D!) and the series first place finishers in the all mountain and all female classes (expert/pro) will be awarded one-off 07' Capitol Forest KING and QUEEN of The Mountain belt buckles (thanks to Port Angeles High School!) and titles for the 07' season. Bitchin. The three courses are each unique and each have their own lean towards following gravity or fighting it, but mostly both. All three courses are under 12 miles long, so you don't need to train in an oxygen deprivation tent and ride a 20lb hard tail to enjoy the events or place well. In order to place well in the series you will need to have equally good bike handling skills as well as equally good fitness and bikes with a little more travel will have as good a chance of winning as the NORBA hard tails. Using the same bike for all three events is required for series overall points, karma will be in effect and enforcement. If the courses aren't long enough for you then you can ride to the start and skip the shuttle (no extra points awarded), and if the courses are to long its time to log off that mountain bike chat room and start pedaling. Run-what-you-brung and race! This NOT a NORBA event. No licenses required. No hastles. No extra fees. Just good old fashioned mountain bike racing. Due to the course change of Super D #2, we are scouring all Super D's equally. The original intention of the higher scoring of Super D #3 was to even the overall scoring between fitness and bike handling skills. Since we ended up with a more technical #2 course we are scoring all races the same.
